About:

A collaboration between the Edith Farnsworth House and Glessner House, this tour will show visitors these iconic sites through the lens of the women who were crucial in their creation and construction.

Each stop will elaborate on the legacies and lives of the Chicago women and architecture, especially Dr. Edith Farnsworth and Frances Glessner. The journey begins with travel to the Edith Farnsworth House Historic Site for an immersive guided morning experience, followed by a return trip to Chicago for a delicious lunch, concluding with an engaging afternoon tour of the Frances Glessner House.

Inclusions:

• Lunch and transportation to all sites is included in ticket price.
• Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Ticket sales will close August 21 or when event reaches capacity.
  -All participants must complete the participant event waiver prior to the start of the event.

Location:

Event begins and ends at the Ada S. McKinley parking lot, located at 1819 S. Wabash Avenue where participants will board the event bus.
Parking available at the Ada S. McKinley lot at 1819 S. Wabash Avenue (available at 8 am)
